Nevertheless, in Euphoria season 2, episode 2, Rue as the narrator says that Lexi "couldn't remember the last time someone her age asked her so many questions about herself". Whether or not Lexi is a minor would depend on which state Euphoria is set in, but it's never actually revealed specifically where the fictional town of East Highland is in the USA. Taking this into consideration, there's been some concern as to whether or not Lexi is a minor and whether or not, it's right for her to be in a relationship with someone who's Fez's age. This would make Fez at least 20 years old but probably a little older. Meanwhile, in season 1, episode 7, Nate claims that Fez "dropped out of school at 20" during a confrontation at Fez's convenience store. This would make her 16 or 17 years old depending on when her birthday is. In the first season of Euphoria, we learn that Lexi is in the same school year as Rue. It's a really fun series, and for all it's over-the-top ridiculousness, it also captures a lot of the sadness, confusion, and isolation of being a teenager. Starting off with the awkward tension of watching the Euphoria cast watch a version of their life play out via a version of themselves on stage, we get a sliver of second-hand embarrassment. Euphoria ’s second season ends with more of Lexi’s play, another mess from Cassie, and a tragic loss. Zendaya is terrific as the head angster, as is Barbie Ferreira as the token not-skinny girl, who has perhaps the most interesting and unlikely story arc. Euphoria’s seventh episode part one of our season two finale is all about Lexi’s play. Everyone is beautiful, the cinematography is sometimes stunning, the girls apparently spend twelve hours a day watching youtube make-up tutorials, and everyone is having lots of sex (trivia: something like 20% of teens are having 90% of teen sex none of the other 80% are in this series). It's also a very glamorized version of teen angst. Hormones make teenagers feel like everything in their life is huge and dramatic and intolerable this series is about people who really are coping with all sorts of soul-crushing things. The first season is reminiscent of the UK series Skin's first, best, season. This stylishly-filmed angst-fest follows a variety of morose high-schoolers as they deal with addiction, self-esteem issues, and the local neighborhood psychopath.
